In this Episode of DEFENDING THE FAITH, Dr. Frank Harber interviews guest Dr. Nathaniel Jeanson on the subject of NEW DNA EVIDENCE SHOWS WHICH SON OF NOAH YOU CAME FROM.
Y Chromosome research is a great tool for finding out your past personal history.... and the World's!
Nathaniel T. Jeanson, a Harvard graduate with a Ph.D. in cell and developmental biology, has discovered a DNA-based, generation by generation family tree for global humanity. This tree uncovers the origin and fate of these ancient peoples—and connects them to peoples alive today.
Ancient peoples are no longer shadowy figures emerging from the misty caves of an unknowable past hundreds of thousands of years before recorded history. Rather, their origins can be known from the Y chromosome record.
Y chromosomes are a record of lineages descending from the most recent common ancestor. With the proper timescale, branching of Y chromosome lineages aligns with actual historical records of migrations, conquests and changes in population size.
Dr Jeanson explains the emerging field of historical genetics and shows how these recent discoveries on the fate of ancient civilizations end up uncovering the story of the whole world!
What happened to the ancient Egyptians? When their civilization fell, did the Egyptian people disappear? Or do their descendants exist to this day? What about the ancient Persians? Romans? Mayans?
For years, the answers to these questions have been hidden.
But no more.
Dr. Nathaniel Jeanson is the author of the new book “Traced: Human DNA's Big Surprise.”
The genetics in Traced restores the indigenous histories to many obscure people groups and connects them back to specific ancestors in Genesis 10.
Ken Ham states Dr. Nathaniel Jeanson has found the Rosetta Stone of human history."
